Statement Of Faith
As inspired by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA: www.bgea.org):  The radio station is not affiliated with BGEA, but recognizes and appreciates the decades of work by Dr. Graham and his association in their global leadership in the communication of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As President and CEO of this radio station, I, Andy McNabb believe:

: :  The Bible is the infallible Word of God, that it is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority.

: :  In one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

: :  Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.  He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate.

: :  That all people everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God, and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross, in that you must be born again to get to heaven (John 3:3).

: :  That Christ rose from the dead and is coming soon.

: :  That Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Saviour, and that I am born again, as according to John 3:3 that states:   “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (New King James version)

: :  In holy Christian living, and that we must have concern for the hurts and social needs of people.

: :  We must dedicate ourselves anew to the service of our Lord Jesus Christ and to His authority over our lives.

Graham is a sports nut, and has a large love for junior hockey.  He'll watch everything from hockey to football to baseball, all the way to darts.

In Graham’s words:  “The reason that I love covering the news in Peterborough, is how Peterborough is a large city with a small town feel; evidenced by the outpouring of support and charity within the community.  It’s refreshing to bring the good news of the helping hands of the citizens of Peterborough to the rest of the community.  The local police service along with the other emergency services in this town are second to none."

Rob Snoek: Play By Play Voice of Russelle Toyota-Peterborough Petes Hockey
Contact: RSnoek< at sign here>fm905.ca

Rob Snoek (Snoek rhymes with “Luke”):

The new radio voice of the Peterborough Petes.  Rob’s passion for hockey began on his family’s backyard rink, which is a tradition that he upholds today – building a rink for his own children.

Before fully launching his broadcasting career, he spent over a decade representing Canada as a track and field athlete, generating medal-winning results.

He’s carried those skills into his broadcasting career, which has included the coverage of 14 different sports and 5 Olympic Games – primarily with CBC Television.

Over 500 games of Ontario Hockey League play by play coverage are on Rob’s resume.

Petes fans might be concerned that those 500 games were with Peterborough’s arch rivals in Oshawa, but rest assured, Rob is fully committed to upholding the long tradition of Petes’ hockey.

Interestingly, he worked alongside the Petes’ General Manager Dave Reid on coverage of the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse.  He has also worked alongside the Petes’ director of player personnel Mike Oke in Oshawa.

No stranger to Peterborough, no stranger to the Petes, no stranger to the Memorial Centre, Rob has called over 50 Petes-Generals games while broadcasting with Oshawa.

Rob is a graduate of Seneca College in Toronto as well as Durham Christian High School and Knox Christian School - both in Bowmanville.  Rob and family attend Hope Fellowship Church in Courtice.
